This is a story of Felix, who has ADHD, and his interactions with a range of different people within his life. It focuses on not only how his relationships with others are affected by his ADHD, but also how it can have an impact on his life.
We see the characters all develop throughout the book, building realistic and interesting relationships with each other. For me, the plot had enough lure with a few twists without becoming unbelievable.
I thoroughly enjoyed this and can’t wait to have it in my classroom to help some of my class build some empathy through literature. Not just for Felix, but also to hopefully help them see how fun it can be spending time with a grandparent too!
