From start to finish, this was a beautifully written book which you would find hard to put down!
Each chapter begins with a detailed illustration showing part of the story to come which just added to the beauty of the book.
The story of Sally Jones is full of twists and turns as she tries to save Chief by travelling from Lisbon to India. Along the way she meets a number of characters who either help or hinder, but all add depth to the story.
The way the story was told really took the reader on a journey along with Sally; I found myself very invested in her problems and what the outcome would be!
A five star book, which I would recommend everyone to read.
