Based on an original version of Cinderella (written more than 2000 years ago!), this story is unlike any other versions of the fairy tale you will have come to know.
With Rhodopis taken from her homeland and sold as a slave, she finds herself in situations where she needs to let the wind ‘bend me, not break me’; she faces each situation and challenge with kindness and gentleness.
The illustrations which accompany ‘Cinderella of the Nile’ are gorgeous. I really loved how well they went with the text; they felt in keeping with the style of the writing.
