This is a beautifully illustrated tale of a boy who becomes an ice bear. The story is told in a simple but effective way; it’s clear to see that as good as the story is, Jackie Morris’ illustrations are the star of the show. Her attention to detail is impeccable and the images feel ‘real’ and provoked emotions.
I’ve kept this review short because I think the images speak for them selves – a picture is, after all, worth a thousand words.
But there are a number of books about nature, or animals, that Jackie has written and it would be remiss of me not to mention them as well. So take a look at these incredible illustrations…then go and buy yourself a book!
