The Humans is an amazingly illustrated book which looks at ancient civilisations around the world and the incredible things we can learn from them. As I keep saying, I’m still constantly surprised at how brilliant non-fiction books are becoming these days.

From more commonly known civilisations such as Greeks and Aztecs, to the lesser known Nubians and Mongolis, Humans looks at a huge range of cultures. It’s full of facts and information which is written in bite-sized chunks, perfect for children without ‘dumbing down’ the topics they’re learning about.

The simplicity of the information layout is so easy to navigate, yet is certainly full of complex facts! I learnt so many new things (and I love history!) so no doubt it will be a fantastic reference for both the classroom and at home.
