Edited by Christopher Lloyd, he has worked with over 100 experts in order to compile a fantastic resource for children. Covering a huge range of topics (as all good encyclopaedia’s do), I can see this being a brilliant book for any classroom!

It’s jam-packed with a variety of exciting themes; I really enjoyed that experts had been interwoven into each section. It added an authority and a ‘face’ to the information being delivered.

The pages are presented in a very accessible way, not only full of facts but also well-crafted illustrations that keep the attention but don’t overpower the information.

Today, I’m able to give you a sneak peak of the Ancient Civilisations pages (where some of my favourite periods of history are!) to give you a look at how fantastic it really is!

As you can see – it’s definitely a glorious looking non-fiction text! Children will be able to do some fantastic research using this: a must-have for teachers.
