#BookPost

It’s safe to say it’s been a while since I’ve uploaded a #Bookpost blog! It’s been an extremely busy month or so and I have been woefully neglectful of sharing the brilliant books I’ve been lucky enough to receive!

Thank you to all the publishers & authors who have kindly gifted these titles to me 📚💫

Vega Jane and the Secrets of Sorcery – David Baldacci (Macmillan)

This thrilling adventure is the first in a series of titles following Vega Jane, a 14-year-old who holds a map that reveals a mysterious world. She soon learns she’s surrounded by secrets and lies, but the truth may cost Vega her life. How exciting does this sound?

Chocolate Milk, X-Ray Specs and Me – Bethany Walker (Scholastic)

A story created through diary entries, letters, newspaper clippings and more, this is sure to engage any child who reads it! Written from the view of Freddy Spicer, this looks like it’s full of laughs.

Stick Boy – Paul Coomey (Little Tiger)

Complimented with brilliant illustrations, this book looks really interesting! Telling the story of stick boy in a 3D world, it tackles sticky situations including robot spies AND super villains!

The Boy I Am – K. L. Kettle (Little Tiger)

Once a year the young men are auctioned to the female elite. If you’re not selected, you are destined for a life in the mines. Work a plot or assassination and the death of loved ones, this sounds like exactly the type of tale I’d love to read!

Detective LB and Hopper – Janey Gaston (Little Steps Publishing)

These two investigators need to solve the case of the disappearing chocolate frogs. With vibrant and exciting illustrations, this is a story little ones will love, I’m sure!

The Ickabog – J K Rowling (Hatchette Children’s)

This is the long awaited new children’s book from J K Rowling! I am so excited to read her new story and see the incredible illustrations which have been created by children around the world!

I also wanted to share these three books which I hadn’t posted previously! I am super excited about these three titles!

Me, My Dad and the End of the Rainbow – Benjamin Dean (Simon and Schuster)

Space Oddity – Christopher Edge (Chicken House Books)

The Weather Weaver – Tamsin Mori

With this selection, I’m glad the Christmas holidays are nearly upon us so I’ve got lots of time to read!
