The Book of Stolen Dreams – David Farr

Stars: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Rachel and her brother are embroiled in a plan of their father’s which takes them on an adventure that will both put them in danger, but also have the potential to save them.

When their father leaves them in possession of a book, they could never imagine the power it contains. The evil dictator who rules their land – who hates children – wants it more than anything. It is rumoured that it contains more than just pages..

Can the siblings race time and, along with their new friends, keep the book from falling into the wrong hands?

It is no surprise that David Farr has written an immensely enjoyable book. The introduction to the book hooks you straight into the book and the world of Krasnia. It immediately pulls you in with mystery and suspense.

I felt as though I was completely immersed in a new world where I wanted to discover everything I could to help Rachel and Robert on their adventures. The villain was perfectly villainous and you were rooting for the hero and heroine throughout the story. Each character was carefully crafted, ensuring they added to the story.

There were twists and turns throughout and nothing was revealed until Farr was ready for you to find out more! If you love a book full of fantasy, adventure and endearing characters then this is definitely one for you to read curled up during a cosy autumn evening.
